>Hospitals, McDonalds and Angry Sales Beavers

Well I had my first ER trip that was the direct result of something Brennan did. He poked me in the eye and scratched my cornea. It wasn’t on purpose of course but wow did it hurt. The doctor put me on an antibiotic to prevent infection and a narcotic to help with the pain (yeah, it was that bad).

My chances of snagging the T-Mobile position are looking even better. I was unable to take the assessment due to a database error and the manager told me that she was waiting on doing any interviews until I could take it because she was really looking forward to interviewing me. Yay! This is the first time I’ve used my new technical resume and it seems to be working its magic. :)

I also finally finished my final for COM135, which is a user guide for a DSL modem. It’s waaay longer than it’s supposed to be – 18 pages in comparison to the max 8 pages allowed – and I can’t seem to make it any shorter. I’m hoping my instructor won’t take off too much from my grade for it because other than that it is a complete beauty.

I must say I am pretty happy right now. Work sucks but outside of that everything is going good for me. Hopefully I’ll get this new position and leave McDonald’s behind me. I’ve never done sales before but I do know customer service very well and I’m good with electronics. So maybe I’ll be pretty good at it. ;)

I’ve barely had time to think much less write in the past couple of weeks. Things finally hit the roof with my mother in law, and I had to call the police once she started getting physically violent with us. Naturally we didn’t want to continue to stay there any more and my family helped us get a new place. My family is so awesome… I don’t know what I would do with out them. I’ve also finally found employment and although it’s not the kind of employment I was looking for (McDonald’s) it has been quite a learning experience (and we all know I love to learn new things). I’m ready to get out of it, though… fast food is just not for me. Fortunately I’ve gotten a call back from T-Mobile about a sales position. I’ve got my fingers crossed that they will hire me.

Brennan’s big birthday party was Saturday. :) He’s having another small birthday party tonight as some people weren’t able to make the big one.
